Latvian Library for the Blind provides free bibliographic and information services for persons who are blind, visually impaired or other reading difficulties. Library for the Blind in Riga and its branch libraries in Balvi, Cesis, Daugavpils, Jelgava, Liepaja, Rezekne and Ventspils readers books are available in normal script, Braille, as well as audio books, it is possible to use computers with specialized equipment for visually impaired and blind, magnification devices for visually impaired readers, wireless Internet, scanning, printing and copying services. In typhlology cabinet is a collection of historical materials about the life of the blind, their activities and achievements, typhlopedagogics, typhlo-methods, social problems, social care and rehabilitation issues.
